I love the saturation of color in your nature photographs. There is a wonderful close, in-your-face intimacy in them; like with the bee, flower, and birds.
I also love the street art. It truly embodies urban life and is a quintessential "picture within a picture" photo. :)
I love the saturated colors of your nature photos. There is also this close, raw intimacy with the bee, flowers, and birds. Usually, I'd cringe at being within a foot of a bee, but your photo seems very "National Geographic"
"Street Art" is also a wonderful picture as I find it really capture the urban themes and lifestyle of NY. :)
” I have tried rather unsuccessfully to work with wildlife in my photos. It is fascinating how you were able to get such an up-close shot of a bee gathering pollen. Two things that I definitely admire about you as an artist from this picture is your patience in taking such a difficult shot, and unfortunately my hand shakes really bad, I would not have been able to take this shot Beautiful job!
I really loved all of your pictures but I especially loved the picture of the footprints in the snow, the color and simplicity of this picture is truly amazing, also I really love the birds and the bee, i've never been able to incorporate animals into my pictures but the way you do is very vivid
Greetings, and welcome to my blog.
I am a 30-year-old business student at Rutgers University Newark. The photographs within this blog were taken in the spring semester of 2008. Being new to photography, I took on a new and exciting yet still timid approach to each project that was assigned. I am a hard-core Brooklyn native, and so most of my photographs were take not just in Brooklyn itself but also throughout Manhattan. Some were also taken in Maryland, and Baltimore.
As I took each photograph, I did not invasion anything special nor did I plan or create any setting or background. What you are about to experience is something raw and uncut, you will be take on a journey through my eyes, you will see and experience my visual concepts to how I view the everyday things we see and take for granted in our daily travels. I must state the as simple as photography may seem, it was not that simple a task I had to undertake. Yet still the end result of this experience as enabled me to look beyond a photograph. I can truly say, “I see the picture.” Throughout the semester my photos was brought to life through color and the natural beauty of nature.
